Local Business Support Program

What is the Local Business Support Program? It’s a great opportunity for local businesses to support our school and for our school community to support local business. It’s win-win for everyone.

Local businesses give a small percentage of their revenues through special days, events, or ongoing promotional codes. We work with each participating business to set up a system that works best for them. As an example, TOYCYCLE, a locally-based toy reuse community, is dedicating a percentage of the fee for all UMCS families that subscribe to their service.

Each year, the UMCS Board of Directors sets parent community fundraising goals, typically around $250,000, to support the day-to-day operations of our school. The parent fundraising community attempts to meet these goals with a Fall Campaign, the Spring Walk-a-thon, Spring Gala, movie nights, t-shirt sales and other efforts. The Local Business Support Program is a new addition to these efforts which are vital to our school’s success.

THANK YOU to the Local Businesses Supporting UMCS

Please support these local businesses as they provide much needed support for our school.

Remember When You Were a Kid?

You went to the shoe store to pick out new shoes. You put your foot on that cool metal foot-measurer, you rested your foot on the sales person's knee, they cinched up your laces and then you ran around the store to see how they felt. You wiggled around in front of the mirror and caught a glimpse of yourself in new shoes. Pretty cool.

Yep, we remember too.

It's important- ya know? Getting the right fit for growing feet! Did you know that the bones in children's feet are still malleable through age 20? We'll help you find shoes that fit well with room for growth. The brands we love pay special attention to creating shoes that are good for feet.

We want to love our kiddos from the ground up. We carry sizes 3 toddler to 5 youth, for babies, toddlers, and big kids. Come on in. We'll measure those feet and fix you up with some new kicks.
